I have lived in Klamath falls for most of my life. My family and I have deep root in this area with generations of family members raising their families here. I grew up in a little community just east of Klamth falls called Pine grove. I am a Henley High School graduate and I was very competative in Wrestling, Track and Cross Country. I graduated in 1988 and went on the following year to Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT) for my general studies laying the ground work for an Architectual degree with an engineering background.
I married my wife, Suzy, of 18 years and we started planning for the future. We started our family in the Lynn/ Benton area were Suzy worked for Oregon State University (OSU) and I started my own contracting business which became the second largest of its type for the area in just three years.
We have a daughter, Kyanna, and a son, Justin. We moved back to Klamath to raise our family here where we knew it would be a safe environment for them to grow and mature after being away for almost eleven years.
I started my real estate career in 2001 at Coldwell Banker Holman Premier Realty and exceeded the planned expectations of my fellow agents in my office. My first full year in real estate I earned Coldwell Banker's Sterling Society award which is given to the top 28% of all Coldwell Banker agents. Every year after I qualified for Coldwell Banker's Diamond Society awarded to the top 14% of all Coldwell Banker agents. Coldwell Banker Holman Premier Realty is the top office in klamath County and has been number 1 for the last 7 years. This office is in the top ten offices for the state of Oregon for its size.
Guarding my clients best interests is very important to me, so I decided to seek a higher level of continuing education classes instead of the classes that most agents take to fulfill their state requirements. I earned my Accredited Buyers Representative Designation (ABR) in 2003, my Graduate of Realtor's Institute designation (GRI) and Certified Residential Specialist designation (CRS) in 2004. These classes have given me a better level of negotiating, marketing, technology skills, and ability to better protect my client's interest in a real estate transaction.
I like to fish the many streams and lakes around the area. Klamath is very well known for its trout fishing. I also like hunting, hiking, and horse back riding on the many mountain trails. There are lots of outdoor activities to do at any time during the year, including moutain biking during the summer, to cross country skiing, and snow mobiling during the winter.
I believe in working hard and doing for others as I hope others might do for me. I always put my clients interests in top priority to get the best deal possible. I am very candid and upfront with my opinions about a property and I will tell my clients what I think. I want them to have as much information as I can provide and they can gather to make an educated decision.
